If you don't know how to play the C7 chord position then sit back, grab your guitar and turn up your computer's speakers, because this is one of the most important guitar lessons you'll ever get. Sure, there's barre chords and scales, etc., etc., etc. But the C7 chord position can really help jump start your guitar playing to the next level.
In today's exclusive guitar lesson from Arlen Roth, the C7 chord position is dissected in every way. Roth clearly demonstrates all of the amazing possibilities with this unique and flexible chord position, explaining how to correctly move it up and down the neck, and how to use the left hand to dampen the strings. He also explains how to properly "squeeze" the chord positions to get the rhythms tighter and funkier.

As the following tracks prove, however, when guitars are employed, their use often results in a classic.

Most rock fans know Ted Nugent as a world-class showman whose offstage eccentricities include a life-long passion for bow-hunting. In parts one and two of this hunting segment, Ted bags a Texas Whitetail buck old-school style. And here’s Ted ― wearing an Indian chief’s headdress no less ― combining his various music ’n’ weapon fetishes onstage during a show, swapping out his trademark Byrdland for a cheap stunt double guitar he dubs the “buffalo” ― then “sacrificing” it with a flaming arrow.
