
Gibson announced its partnership with the19th Annual Comcast San Jose Jazz Festival scheduled to take place August 8 – 10 in San Jose, California. The festival features overone hundred bands comprised of over 1,000 musicians on 10 stages in downtown San Jose. Another highlight of the festival includes demos and exhibits at the Tech Museum of Innovation located in the center of the city where the festival takes place.

This festival brings together international and local favorites, legends and rising starsof the capital of Silicon Valley and offers all flavors of jazz including Latin, blues, salsa, R&B, electronica and more. Headlining performers will include Gibson Signature artist JoeBonamassa, David Sanborn, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Summit and Zakir Hussain, the Bill Holman Orchestra, James Hunter, the Shotgun Wedding Hip Hop Symphony, and many more. The official Gibson Tour Bus will be on site and serve as the Gibson Blues Stage where artists can perform, test guitars or jam together during impromptu sessions. Gibson Guitar gear will be displayed and presented by Guitar Showcase in San Jose and press will have the opportunity to conduct interviews aboard the Gibson Tour Bus with several of the artists.

Guests will have the opportunity to experience two of the most innovative guitars every produced, the Gibson HD.6X Pro Digital Guitar and the Gibson Robot Guitar, at the Tech Museum of Innovation.
